Robert "OB" Norman Oblisk

Robert “OB” N. Oblisk, age 76, of Adel, Georgia, passed away On Saturday, October 10, 2026. He was born to loving parents, Robert Lee Oblisk and Normal Booth Phillips in Ashland, OH on February 18, 1950. He dedicated many years to the United States Airforce and retired as a MSgt. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Doug Oblisk, Larry Lee Oblisk and Keith Weaver.

OB is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 53 years, Elona Oblisk; sons, Daniel Johnson (Iris) of Valdosta, Erich Oblisk (Christina) of Wichita Falls, TX, Shaun Oblisk (Krystle) of Adel, and Robert Lee Oblisk II (Taylor) of Berrien County, GA; grandchildren, Blaine (Katie), Shauna, Matthew, Krystin (Tray), Mason, Will, Emma, Noah, Wade, Payton, Tyler, Zoey, Lane; great grandchildren, Alona, Tayden, Lilah, Brenton; sister Nancy Lee Polk (Wayne) of Mobile, AL and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, October 16, 2026, in The Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services, with visitation being held one hour prior to service.
