Of Waycross, GA passed away Thursday, December 2, 2016 in Brooks County at the Fellowship Home. He was born on July 31, 1931 to the late James Collier & Beulah Smith Rigdon. He was proceeded in death by his wife of 62 years, Dorothy Rigdon. Mr. Rigdon served in the Navy during the Korean War as a deep sea diver apart of the Destroyer Tender. He enjoyed traveling and adventures with the family, walking on the beach, loved camping, sailing, and flying his plane.
Survivors Include: Son, Robert Hugh Rigdon Jr. of San Diego, California. Son, Dennis Michael Rigdon of Las Vegas, Navada. Daughter, Rhonda Rigdon Eriksen of Bend, Oregon. Sister, Billye Sue Tomlinson of Homerville, Georgia. Brother, James C. Rigdon of Homerville, Georgia. Sister, Sandra Leigh Rigdon Cleveland of Palm Bay, Florida.
