Robert "Bob" Rouse, Sr. – 81
Of Valdosta passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017 at his residence. He was born on July 25, 1935 in Jacksonville, FL to the late John H. & Lois Bivins Rouse, Sr. He was Methodist by faith. Bob retired from CSX Railroad after 35 years of service. He was a member of Pine Level Masonic Lodge in Fitzgerald, GA, member of the Hasan Shrine Temple in Albany, GA and the Hillbilly Shrine unit. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Linda Jeanette Rouse, sister, Helen Toole and brother, John H. Rouse, Jr.
Survivors Include: Son & Daughter-in-law, Robert "Bobby" & Christy Rouse, Jr., Savannah, GA; Daughter & Son-in-law, Robin & Robert Hall, III, Valdosta, GA; Grandchildren: Brett Hall Danielle, Ava Castleberry Tripp, Blake Rouse Sarah and Makenzi Rouse; Great Granddaughters: Presley, Isabella, Audrey, Gini Lynn and London and a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 19, 2017 in the Riverview Mausoleum Chapel with Inurnment to follow. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Shriners Hospital for Children at www.shrinershospitalsforchildren.org Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
