Robert Lee "Sonny" Hamilton, Jr – 77
Of Mount Vernon, GA passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2014 at the Langdale Hospice House in Valdosta, GA. He was born on December 29, 1936 to Robert Lee Hamilton, Sr. and Reba Meek Hamilton in Phoenix, AZ. He was self-employed in the automotive Battery industry and with building mobile homes. He served his country in the National Guard. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sisters, Betty Keene and June Talley.
His survivors include his Wife of 34 years, Bonnie Hamilton of Mount Vernon, GA; Step Children, Junior Lott, Debbie Kent, Jackie Lott, Douglas Lott; 8 Grandchildren; Brothers, Ray Hamilton & Mac Hamilton; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 2:00PM Thursday, April 24, 2014 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services. Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com . Music Funeral Services of Lakeland is serving the Hamilton family.
