Robert "Bob" Spradlin

Robert “Bob” Wayne Spradlin – 82 of Valdosta, Georgia passed away in the early morning hours of Tuesday October 27, 2020 in South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on April 21, 1938 in Oak Hill, West Virgina to the late Mildred Blendine Cox and Gordon Covington Spradlin. Robert served in the United States Air Force for over 20 years before retiring in Valdosta. He went on to spend 20 years in the civil service in liquid fuels management at Moody Air Force Base and became an active member of both Azalea Lodge #716 F&AM and Lakeland Lodge #434 F&AM. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter, Carolyn F. Powers and one sister.
Survivors include his loving wife of 32 years Susie C. Spradlin of Valdosta, GA; Siblings: Marilyn F. Pena of New Braunfels, TX, Homer Fulghum of Kansas City, KS; Scottie Fulghum and wife, Alisa of Royse City, TX; Grandchildren: Jian, Summer, Chris, Cherise, Kerri, Loran, Briana; 12 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 31, 2020 in the New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery of Valdosta, Georgia, with Full Military Honors and Masonic Rites. A visitation will be held Friday, October 30, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Messages of sympathy can be left at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
