Of Lakeland passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017 at South Georgia Medical Center after a sudden illness. He was born in Valdosta on November 15, 1942 to the late Robert and Mary Frances (Bridges) Stowers, Sr. He served in the United States Air Force. Mr. Stowers worked with various Chevrolet Dealerships in the area as Parts Manager. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and collecting and trading antiques.
Survivors Include: Wife of 48 years, Kazuyo Stowers, Lakeland, GA; Daughter & Son-in-law: Miki & Michael Collins, Pooler, GA; 2 Grandchildren: Brayden Collins & Aubrey Collins and Sister, Robin Stowers, Jacksonville, FL
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday March 14, 2017 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday evening at the funeral home. Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
