Of Valdosta, GA passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2014 in South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on January 19, 1927 in Dupont, GA to Wayne and Ora Lee Tomlinson. He loved to work with wood and was a member of Naylor United Methodist Church. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
His survivors include his Wife of 57 years, Clarice Tomlinson of Valdosta, GA; Daughter & Son-in-Law, Tammy and Don Porter of Leesburg, GA; 2 Granddaughters, Tori & Corey Purvis of Leesburg, GA, Trista Porter of Leesburg, GA; Great Granddaughter, Kenzlee Purvis of Leesburg, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at the funeral home from 6:00PM until 8:00PM.
