Roberta Pauline “Polly” Branam – 90
Of Valdosta, GA passed away Monday, November 27, 2017 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on April 1, 1927 in Smithville, MS to the late Richard Goddard and Roberta (Smith) Goddard. She was a beloved mother, devoted wife, and dedicated Christian. She was a member of Truth Harbor Apostolic Church in Lake Park. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jamie Branam; sister, Ruth Mattox and 3 brothers; Earl Goddard, Gordon Goddard, and Robert Goddard; Bob Massey, the late husband of Roberta Massey; Granddaughter, Shannon Hill.
Survivors include: Husband, James Branam of Valdosta, GA; Son, Richard Hill & Shanna of Valdosta, GA; Son & Daughter-in-law, Lewis & Lauretta Hill of Cohutta, GA; Daughter, Roberta Massey of Bartow, FL; Son, Steve Hill of Valdosta, GA; Daughter, Janice Branam of Boulder, CO; Son & Daughter-in-law, Johnny & Angie Branam of Wildwood, FL; Grandchildren: Synnova Goodge, Monica Massey, Stephanie Hill, Jason Branam, Ryan & Caleb Branam; Great Grandchildren: Madison Goodge, Sara Goodge and Mackenzie Branam.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Truth Harbor Apostolic Church in Lake Park with burial to follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens.
