Stockton – Rodney Oneal Jones, 82, passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2018, at his home surrounded by family. He was born on January 25, 1936, in Sandhill, KY to the late Earl M. Jones and Mable LaMastus Jones. In the 1960s, he owned a gas station in Goodlettsville, TN. He bought a honey bottling business from one of his customers and later became a beekeeper. He kept bees and sold honey for over 50 years. In 1982, he moved to Stockton, GA where he continued beekeeping and sharing his gardening knowledge with family and friends.
He is survived by four sons and four daughters: Terri Teague, Trent Jones, Paula and Roy Wallace, Ruel Jones, Marvin and Jodi Jones, Jennifer and Howard Whilden, Wayne Jones, Holly and Raynae Jones; his brother; R.M. and Lucette Jones; mother of his children, Wylene Jones; his close friend: Chun Song Lane and her nephews, Jun Ho Park, Min Ho and Siobhan Park; 21 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
