Of Valdosta, GA passed away on Monday, January 25, 2016, at Langdale Hospice House. He was born on May 18, 1938 in Cumberland, MD to Howard and Mildred Burgess Arnold. Mr. Arnold was self-employed as a Landscaper, after serving his country for 24 years in the United States Air Force and the Army National Guard. He enjoyed fishing, along with spending time with his family and attending his church.
His survivors include Wife of 56 years Vivian C. Arnold; Son and Daughter-in-Law Ronald L. Arnold, Jr. Rhonda; Daughter and Son-in-Law Karen S. Dixon Thomas; Son and Daughter-in-Law Eric Arnold Deanna; Four Grandchildren: Sheree Crosby Jared of Adel, GA; Justin Dixon of Austin, TX; Heather Earthboy of Harlem, MT; and Brent Dixon Brittany of Austin, TX; Four Great Grandchildren; one Brother, James E. Arnold of Fort Ashby, WV; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. In addition to his parents, Mr. Arnold is predeceased by his brother Donald Arnold.
A funeral service will be held 2:00PM on Thursday, January 28, 2016 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens.
