Of Stockton, passed away early Tuesday morning, April 20, 2010 at South Georgia Medical Center after a sudden illness. He was born February 26, 1941 in New York, New York to the late Fred and Marie Hollis. He loved to fish and was a member of Southside Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Alice Hollis, and a daughter, Ann Ganas.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 22, 2010 in the Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. Austin Deloach, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Long Bridge Cemetery in Nashville, Georgia. Mr. Hollis will be placed in the church one hour prior to service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, April 21, 2010 from 5:00 7:00 p.m.
