Of Valdosta passed away Thursday, November 17, 2011 at his residence. He was born on June 29, 1934 in Flint, Michigan to the late Joseph J. & Virginia G. Davis Howe. Mr. Howe retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service. He was a member of the Moody Masonic Lodge #719 and the New Harvest United Methodist Church.
Mr. Howe is survived by his, Wife of 53 years, Shirley A. Howe, Valdosta, GA; Son, Joseph J. Howe, Valdosta, GA; Daughter & Son-in-law, Vickie L. & Eugene Cheney, Melbourne, FL; 2 Grandchildren, Brother, Rodney M. Howe, Albuquerque, New Mexico
Graveside services will be held at 12:30 PM Sunday, November 20, 2011 in Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the New Harvest United Methodist Church, 2548 Lakeland Highway, Valdosta, GA 31605 or the Moody Lodge #719, 5683 Bemiss Rd., Valdosta 31605.
