Ronnie Dickerson, 59, passed away Friday, July 2, 2010. Born in Valdosta, Mr. Dickerson worked in middle Georgia as a tree surgeon with Asplundh and Georgia Power and attended Faith Tabernacle for ten years.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Mattie Dickerson of Byron, children, Alesha MikeRoss of Byron, TonyaRobertSmith of Centerville, Jennifer Price of Byron and Ronald Dickerson of Byron, grandchildren, Kersti Ross, Michael Ross Jr.Nikki, Taylor Smith, Wiley Price, and Halli Smith, great grandchildren, Destiny Ross and Nevaeh-Faith Ross , parents, Wallace and Gertrude Dickerson of Valdosta, and brothers and sisters, Eddie Dickerson of Valdosta, Kenny Dickerson of Augusta, BrendaWilliamSpell of Lake Park, and Sandra Santana of Statenville.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Larry Dickerson.

Services will be held at 2PM on Thursday, July 8, 2010, in the Chapel of Music Funeral Home in Valdosta with the family greeting friends from 1PM until service time. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery
