Rosa Mae Mathis

Of Nashville, Georgia passed away Friday morning, December 19, 2008 at Tift Regional Medical Center after a short illness. She was born January 8, 1926 in Lanier County to the late Ike and Lula Sirmans Browning. She was a homemaker and member of the Brownings Chapel Church of God. She is preceded in death by her husband Clyde Mathis and a son David Mathis.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 21, 2008 in the Brownings Chapel Church of God with burial following in Poplar Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, December 20, 2008 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
