Of Hahira passed away Saturday morning, April 7, 2007 at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born in Portsmouth, VA on February 1, 1920 to the late George and Annie Elliott Griffin. She worked at South Georgia Medical Center as a LPN until she was 77. Her husband, James Willie Baxter and Brother, Benny Griffin, precedes her in death.

Sons & Daughters-in-law John Wayne & Patricia Baxter
Jim & Judy Baxter all of Hahira
Grandchildren: Galen & Colleen Baxter, Jenny Baxter and Phong Vu, Sunny Baxter, Hunter Baxter, Alan Watson and Heather & Jason Obrien
Funeral Services were held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday morning, April 10, 2007 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with the Rev. B. Wayne Hughes officiating. Burial followed in Friendship Cemetery in Hahira.
