Ruby Whitley Gray - 80
of Lakeland went home to be with the Lord on October 7, 2018 at her residence following a lenthy illness. Ruby was born to the late Robert and Doris (Shaw) Whitley on May 18th 1938 in Nashville, GA. She loved her Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ and her church family and dedicated her life to them. She was a member of the Lakeland Church of God. She enjoyed traveling and cooking. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a Son, David Gray, Sisters, Annelle Bradford & Linda Taylor and Brother, Ronald Whitley
Survivors include her Husband of 64 years, Alton Gray of Lakeland, GA; Son: Robbie and Terry Gray of Nashville, GA; Daughter: Debbie and Michael Kaldenbach of Lakeland; 5 Grandchildren: Chris Gray, Misty Starks, Steve Gray, April Martinez (Michael), Jodie Cannon (Michael); 11 Great Grandchildren; 4 Great Great Grandchildren; Sisters & Brother-in-law: Joanne & Dennis Knight, Thomasville; Brothers & Sister-in-law: Bud Whitley, Alapaha, Kip & Shirley Whitley, Tifton, Jerry Whitley, Enigma, Carroll & Wynell Whitley, Alapaha, Terrell & Sherry Whitley, Alapaha, Waymond Whitley, Nashville, Don Whitley, Alapaha, Earl Whitley, Nashville and a number of nieces, nephews and extended family members
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Poplar Spring Cemetery.
