Ruby Guthrie

Ruby Guthrie, 90, of Nashville, Ga. passed away early Saturday morning November 29, 2008 in the Berrien Nursing Center in Nashville following a lengthy illness. She was born January 1, 1918 to the late William Leonard and Mattie Gaskins Rowan in Berrien County, Ga. where she lived all her life. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Robert Guthrie, Sr. 2 sons Jonathan Ruel Guthrie and Roy Robert Guthrie, Jr. She was Holiness Baptist by faith.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday December 1, 2008 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial in Guthrie Cemetery in Berrien County, Ga. The family will receive friends between 6:00 and 8:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
