Of Ray City, GA passed away Sunday, February 3, 2013 at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born on January 31, 1942 in Gadsden Alabama to the late James & Susie Brown Mann. Mrs. Poole was a waitress for 40 years raising 4 kids. She also worked as a librarian assistant for Ray City Library. She was Baptist by faith. She is preceded in death by her Parents, 2 Sisters, and 5 Brothers. Survivors Include: Daughter, Darlene Hancock, of Nashville, GA; Daughter, Judy Greenwood, of Ray City, GA; Son, Danny Hancock, of Ray City, GA; Daughter, Sandra Poole, of Ray City, GA; 4 Grandchildren- Ruby Bennett, Melissa Mauldin, Christina Poole, & Joseph Hancock; 9 Great Grandchildren; Sister, Betty Christopher, of Robertsdale, AL; A number of Nieces & Nephews. Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 8, 2013 at 11:00AM in the First Baptist Church in Ray City, GA with burial to follow in Beaver Dam Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, February 8, 2013 1 hour prior to service in the church. Music Funeral Services of Lakeland, GA is serving the family.
