Ruby Wood Richardson Barker 91
Of the New Lois Community passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at her residence. She was born March 31, 1924 in Clinch County GA, to the late J.R. and Lona Wood. Mrs Ruby married William "Shorty" Richardson in 1938 and was married for 26 years before his passing. Ruby was a dedicated homemaker throughout her life. She enjoyed the duties of a farmer's wife along with cooking for the help during the tobacco season and everything the farm life entailed. Her yard and vegetable garden were a delight to her. She also enjoyed fishing whenever she got the chance. Ruby's kind and gentle nature will be sorely missed by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing her. Along with her parents and husbands William Richardson and Horace Barker, she was also preceded in death by 2 sisters, Marie Bailey and Murdie Dix and one brother Dub Wood.

2 Daughters & Son-in-Law; Evelyn Walls, Kathy & Jimmy Sammons;2 Sons & Daughter-in-Law Earl Richardson
Carol & Pat Richardson;6 Grandchildren; Dane Studstill, Kim StoneH.J., Dawn Golden, Ray Lisa Sammons, Donna Phillip Staines, and Amy Richardson
11 Great Grandchildren, 9 Great Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews
A Graveside service will be held Friday, September 18, 2015 at 11:00A.M at pleasant cemetery in Berrien County. The family will receive friends this evening September 17, 2015 from 5:00 until 7:00P.M. at the funeral home.
