Ruby Stone – 64
Of Lakeland, passed away late Sunday evening November 6, 2011 after a sudden illness. She was born September 11, 1947 to Dallas & Mary Ellen White Cook. Following her retirement from Nashville Textile after 27 years, she became employed by the Lanier County Board of Education as a school bus driver for 5 years. She loved Nascar Racing and was a diehard Dale Earnhardt fan. She is preceded in death by a son, Olen Tilman Stone, Jr. and her father, Dallas Cook.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 9, 2011 in the Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, November 8, 2011 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
