Russell "Curly" Brogdon

Russell Davis “Curly” Brogdon- 69 of Fitzgerald passed away on February 7, 2019 at the Pruitt Health Nursing Home after declining health. He was born November 2, 1949 in Gadsden, Alabama. His parents were the late Wilbur and Ruby Davis Brogdon of Nashville, GA. Russell was a retired diesel mechanic, business owner, and also an Army veteran. He was a car racing enthusiast, enjoyed the outdoors, and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Smith-Brogdon of Fitzgerald, GA; sister and brother and law, Sarah and Tommy Ross of Valdosta, GA; nephew, Chad (Kim) Connell and family of Mershon, GA.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at the funeral home. A private graveside service will be held at Westview Memorial Cemetery in Nashville, GA.
