Russell Shaver – 78

Of Valdosta passed away Monday evening, September 18, 2006 at South Georgia Medical Center after a sudden illness. He was born in Alachua County, Fl and had lived in Duval County, Fl for most of his life. Mr. Shaver was a member of MacClenny Primitive Baptist Church and retired from Fruit Growers Express Railroad as a mechanic. He served in the United States Army. His wife, Wilma Jean Edwards and brother, Billy Shaver precedes him in death.

Survivors Include: 4 Daughters and Sons-in-law, Loyce & Curt Beasley, Valdosta, Cheryl Bomar, Jacksonville, Fl, Karen & David Marlowe, Valdosta, Lori & Ali Rastegar, Valdosta, 2 Sons, Rondy Shaver, Valdosta, Daryl Shaver, Lakeland, 9 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren

Graveside services were held Wednesday, September 20, 2006 in the New Hope Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in La Crosse, Florida.

Music Funeral Services of Valdosta is serving the Shaver family.
