Passed away Monday, December 13, 2010 in Langdale Hospice House. She was born on March 17, 1919. While in Evansville, IN she and her husband, Robert R. Berger, owned and operated House of Cards and House of Books. While in Valdosta for more than 30 years, she nurtured many children in her home. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert R. Berger.

She is survived by her, Daughter & Son-in-law, Tamara Shrader & the late Richard Shrader, OFallon, IL; Extended family members Pam, Allen, Cade & Payton Powell, Valdosta, GA; Special Friends: Riva & Vernon Solmon, Nancy & Harold Noble, Carol & Ken Hotcalleg, Connie & Charlie Register and Mary Douglas

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 17, 2010 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. The family will receive friends following the service. Ms. Berger will be buried in Akron, IN.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that bonds be made for Cade & Payton�s education.
