Of Valdosta Georgia passed away March 27, 2020 in the South Georgia Medical Center. Ruth was born in Nashville, Georgia to the late Seaborn and Arlie Boyd. She worked as a seamstress and salesperson in the ready to wear department of The Famous Store in Valdosta. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edward Sirmans, daughter Gail Jordan, son Winston Sirmans 3 brothers, Horace Boyd, Carson Boyd and Charlie Boyd, as well as grandchildren Gay Jordan, Michael Jordan and Alden Williams
Survivors include: Son, Ivan Sirmans (Elizabeth) Albany, Georgia Grandchildren: Kelly Jordan Dusty Sirmans (Jennifer) Wendy Culpepper (Roger) Debra Williams (Victor) Dana Swilley (Danny) Daughter-in-Law Patricia Sirmans Valdosta, Georgia 14 Great Grandchildren 5 Great-Great Grandchildren
A private graveside service will be held in the Beaver Dam Cemetery in Ray City, Georgia.
In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the Grace Baptist Church 2218 Copeland Road, Valdosta, Georgia 31601.
