Ruth Vaughn – 72
Of Lakeland passed away Saturday night, September 27, 2008 at Tift Regional Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was born February 18, 1936 to the late J.D. and Annie Jones in Berrien County, Ga and had lived in Lakeland for most of her life. She was a member of the New River Holiness Church. Her Great Grandson, Levin Pafford preceded her in death.
Survivors Include: Husband, John A. Vaughn, Lakeland, Ga; 2 Daughters, Barbara May, Nashville, Ga, Brinda Pafford & David Miley, Tifton, Ga, 5 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, Sister, Irene Rutherford, Nashville, Ga and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 30, 2008 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in the New River Cemetery in Berrien County.
