Ruthaleen C. Logan

Ruthaleen C. Logan 86 of Homerville, died peacefully at the South Georgia Langdale Hospice House surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness. Ruthaleen was born December 11, 1933 in the Cogdell Community of Clinch County to the late John Riley and Dollie Mae Kight Corbitt. She was a graduate of Clinch County (Homerville) High School and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church where she served as the Treasurer and Bookkeeper for many years. She was the City Clerk for the City of Homerville of over 26 years. She was a very loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother; She was probably best known for being a very organized lady with outlined details; also enjoyed cooking for her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald H. Logan, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Survivors include her children: Sherrie L. Mikell and husband Tony of Homerville, GA, Al Logan and wife Carol Ann of Valdosta, GA; 3 Grandchildren: Winston D. Peterson and wife Crystal, Misty McQuaig and husband David, Jessica Lynn Turman and husband Jordan; 5 Great-Grandchildren: Austin & Emma Ryleigh Peterson, Maddey Logan McQuaig and Cole McQuaig and Maeley McQuaig; Very special family friends, Geneva Jones, Wanda Spears and Shirley Teston.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 2:00PM, Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at Trinity Baptist Church in Homerville with Rev. David Johnson officiating. Interment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery at a later date. The family will be receiving friends from 1:30PM until service time in the sanctuary of the Trinity Baptist Church.
The family respectfully requests memorials may be made to the Trinity Baptist Church, 261 Woodlake Drive, Homerville, Georgia 31634 or to the Langdale Hospice House, 2263 Pineview Drive, Valdosta, Georgia 31602.
The Logan family is being cared for by the Professional and Dedicated staff of Music Funeral Services, Lakeland, Georgia.
