Of Valdosta passed away late Monday November 13, 2006 in South Georgia Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born March 28, 1929 in Fukiyoko, Japan. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Earl Rowland, a 22 year Navy Veteran whom she followed faithfully throughout his entire career. She was beloved and cherished by all of her family and all who knew her.
Survivors include: Daughter, Wynell Montgomery, Valdosta, Ga, 4 Grandchildren; Jason & Melinda Woodall, Memphis, TN, Candace Woodall, Cyndi & Tsali Hall, Santa Fe, NM, Joshua & Julia Montgomery, Valdosta, GA and 9 Great Grandchildren
Graveside services were held Friday, November 17, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. in the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
