Of Ray City, Georgia passed away Monday, April 17, 2006 from a lengthy illness at her daughter residence in Lakeland. She was born March 13, 1914 in Johnson County, Georgia to the late Jim & Pearl Gibson Davis. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ray City, a member of the Woodmen of the World and the Ray City Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She loved playing Bingo. Mrs. Sadie is preceded in death by her 3 grandchildren, Marvin Connell, Jr., Mary Gaskins & Meghan Gaskins.

Grandchildren: Raymond Sammons, Kathy Ellis, William Sammons, Avery Sammons, Pam Richards, Robbie Gaskins, Sherrie Gaskins, Becky Gaskins, Melissa Golden & Ray Sammons

20 Great-Grandchildren & 1 Great-Great Grandchild.


Funeral Services will be held Wednesday April 19, 2006 in the First Baptist Church of Ray City at 11:00 AM. Family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight, Tuesday April 18, 2006 from 7:00- 9:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Beaver Dam Cemetery.
