Of Barney passed away Friday, January 7, 2011 at her residence after a sudden illness.
She was born November 25, 1933 in Brooks County to the late Fleming B. and Leila Spell Williams. Sadie attended Morrison Baptist Church and was a former member of Gateway Baptist Church. Along with her parents, Ms. Stephens is preceded in death by 2 brothers F.B. Williams and Johnny Williams, sisters, Eloise Griffin Gloria Trego, Minnie Hendrickson, and a Sister in Law, Oweda Williams

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 10, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Quitman. The family will receive friends this evening Sunday, January 9, 2011 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral Home.
