Samuel "Sam" Allen Weaver

Samuel “Sam” Allen Weaver, age 72, of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Langdale Hospice House, Valdosta, after a brief illness. Sam was born on January 19, 1950 in Phenix City, Alabama to the late Catherine Louise Vann Weaver and Samuel Young Weaver. He served his country honorably during the Vietnam era in the United State Navy. He worked as a printing pressman with US Press for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Jimmy Weaver and one sister, Vickie W. Gilder.
Survivors include his loving wife of thirty-four years, Debra Zalewa Weaver of Valdosta, Georgia; his children: Vaschone Turnage and husband Tommy, Gregory Weaver and wife Heather, Robby Zon Weaver all of Phenix City, Alabama, Kimberly Hill of Massachusetts, Tyrone Jermaine Weaver and Isaiah Isaac Weaver both of Valdosta, Georgia; five grandchildren; one special great niece, Lillian Gilder and one special great nephew, Jacob Gilder.
Graveside rites will be held at 1 o’clock pm, on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery, 553 Highway 165, Fort Mitchell, Alabama 36856. The family will receive friends from 6 o’clock to 8 o’clock pm on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Music Funeral Services, Valdosta.
