Samuel Goodman

Samuel Dozier Goodman, age 55, of Griffin, Georgia, died on May, 12, 2021 at the Langdale Hospice House. Sam was born May 10, 1966 to the late Constance Lorraine Dupree and Augustus Dozier Goodman in Fort Valley, Peach County, Georgia. He was the owner and operator of Sam Goodman’s plastering. He also served in the Army Reserves; he was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Sam York, Hazel York and brother “Scooter”.

Survivors include his daughters, Lauren G. Jackson, husband Josh, and grandson Nathan Jackson of Loganville, Georgia, Ashlyn G. Hinnant and husband Zachary of Loganville, Georgia; father, Robert chambers of Griffin, Georgia; sister, Bonnie G. Abney and husband Mike of Live Oak, Florida, half-brother, A. D. Goodman and wife Beverly of Trenton, Florida, step-brother, Allen Nelson and wife Anna of Ocala, Florida.
