Samuel Charles McGauley, Jr – 53

Of Lake Park passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021 in the South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on September 18, 1967 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Samuel Charles McGauley, Sr and Connie Latrelle McGauley. He was employed as a dental equipment technician with Benco Dental. He was an active member of Truth Harbor Apostolic Church where he enjoyed running the sound system, serving as head of the security team and as the director of Cornerstone Family Camp. He also enjoyed leather working and spending time with his family, especially his sons. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his Mother-in-Law Shirley Conger
Survivors include: Loving wife of 25 years, Teleathia (Telia) McGauley; 3 Sons: Seth McGauley, Nicholas McGauley, Nathaniel McGauley, all of Lake Park, Georgia; Mother: Latrelle McGauley, Jennings, Florida; Sister: Terry Viar and husband David, Lake Park, Georgia; Father-in-law: Sherman Conger, Watertown, Tennessee; Brother-in-Law: Jason Conger and wife Becky, Watertown, Tennessee and several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Truth Harbor Apostolic Church, 4202 Loch Laurel Road, Lake Park, GA with burial following in Lake Park City Cemetery. The Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
