Of Valdosta, GA passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on September 4, 1932 in Kingston, TN to Samuel, Sr. and Bertha Ward Wright. He was an electrician with Whitehead. Mr. Wright served his country and retired from the United States Air Force. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nina Wright and two daughters, Barbara Dykes and Debbie Bennett.
Survivors include his Daughters, Shirley Carroll of Valdosta, GA; Connie Wright of CT; Son, Samuel Wright of Valdosta, GA; 7 Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great Grandchild; several nieces & nephews and extended family members.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 2, 2016 from 11:00AM until 1:00PM in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services.
