Sandra Jean "Sandy" Olsen

Sandra Jean “Sandy” Olsen 64 of Lakeland passed away suddenly on Friday, August 30, 2019 at her residence. She was born August 25, 1955 in Munich Germany to the late Edward Harold and Marguerite Lillian Gilbert MacDougall. Sandy was a Catholic by faith and loved all animals, she was a member of CHAT (Citizens for Humane Animal Treatment, Inc). Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Olsen, and a brother, James MacDougall.
Survivors include: Daughters; Jasmine A. Olsen of Lakeland, GA and Lauren M. Olsen of Lakeland, Brother, Edward MacDougall, Mother-in-Law, Sara Seitz, Brother-in-Law, William Gilliard, Sister-in-Law, Nancy Olsen Gilliard, Nieces, Sara (Ryan) Archambeault, Lindsey Shaw, Michayla Shaw, Hannah Gilliard, Cassidy Horton, Nephews, George Houssell, Jamie Gilliard, Mike MacDougall, and David MacDougall, Brother-in-Law, Jim (Cynthia) Olsen, Sister-in-Law, Mary Lou (Ray) Harris. And special extended family members, Billie Jo and Michael Stacey and all of her precious fur babies.
As per her wishes she will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, September 7, 2019 in the chapel of Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services. In Lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made ASPCA at www.aspca.org , which was one charity that Sandy was passionate about.
