Of Valdosta passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2013 in South Georgia Medical Center after a sudden illness. She was born June 8, 1940 in Jackson, NC to the late Alton and Willow Sanderson Britton and she was a member of Pleasant Way Baptist Church

Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 7, 2013 at 11:00A.M. in Pleasant Way Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Cox will be placed in the church one hour prior to services. The family will receive friends Sunday, January 6, 2013 from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
