Sanford Luke

Sanford Luke – 85 of Lakeland passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Holly Hill Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. He was born on August 27, 1935 in Berrien County, GA to the late Austin & Annie (Rutherford) Luke. Sanford serviced his country honorable in the United States Army. He retired from Nashville Mills after many years of service. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Sherrie Jo Luke Binion and sister, Margie Luke Knowle Dent.
Survivors Include: Caretaker and mother of Sherrie: Sue Tucker, Lakeland; GA; Brother: James “Gene” Luke, Nashville, GA; Sister: Betty Peters, Nashville, GA; Grandchildren: Timothy Jo Binion of Lakeland, Searrie Binion of Naylor, Timothy Ray Binion of Naylor, Bentley Joe Binion of Naylor, Cameron Pendleton of Naylor and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 28, 2021 in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Lakeland. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
