Sarah Jackson Mixon – 81
Of Hahira passed away Thursday, January 8, 2009 at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born in Lamont, Florida to the late Vester Lee and Clyde Hamner Jackson. Mrs. Mixon was a retired LPN. She is preceded in death by her husband, Perry Mixon and a brother, Raymond Lee Buddy Jackson.
Survivors include:Daughters & Son-in-law, Sarah Diane McCall, Savannah, GA, Brenda & William Crosby, Adel, GA, Sons, Perry Mixon, Ray City, GA, Robert Mixon, Atlanta, GA, Daniel Mixon, Atlanta, GA, 8 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 10, 2009 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Antioch United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, January 9, 2009 at the funeral home.
