Sarah Dell Pittman – 86
Of Valdosta, GA passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on May 14, 1932 in Ila, Georgia to the late George W. and Roxie (Rice) Davis. Mrs. Pittman was a resident of Lakehaven nursing home in Valdosta, GA for four years. She was a seamstress at Levis Straus Company for over 40 years. Sarah was a life time member of Westside Baptist Church in Valdosta. She enjoyed family time and especially spending time with her grandchildren. One of her favorite things she loved to do was cooking and eating mullet. Mrs. Pittman was preceded in death by her husband David A. Pittman.
Survivors include: Sons and Daughters-in-Law, Richard & Ann Pittman,
Ronnie & Peggy Pittman, Randy & Angie Pittman, all of Valdosta, GA;
Grandchildren, Tennille & Mitch Starling of Nashville, GA, Renee & David West of Naylor, GA, Jennifer & Danny Pollock of Valdosta, GA, Matt & Kristi Pittman of Jacksonville, FL, Justin Pittman of Valdosta, GA; Great Grandchildren: Caleb Pollock, Ethan Starling, Mollie Starling, Anna Kate West, Ryver West, Harper Pittman and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services, Valdosta with burial to follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Music Funeral Services in Valdosta.
