Scott Lane Bennett

Scott Lane Bennett , 59 of Valdosta passed away Monday, February 7, 2022 at Langdale Hospice after a brief battle with cancer. He was born April 4, 1962 in Valdosta, GA to Reuben & Sue (Reid) Bennett. Scott made his career as a self-employed painter. He loved music, enjoyed working with fruit trees and loved his cats. He is preceded in death by his Father, Reuben W. Bennett and Brother, Brian Bennett.
Survivors Include his Mother, Sue Lane Bennett of Valdosta, GA, Sister, Lisa (Gary) Spells of Valdosta, GA, Brother, Danny (Marie) Bennett of Jacksonville, FL, Niece, Rebecca Bennett of Jacksonville, FL, and Nephew, Daniel Bennett of Jacksonville, FL.
Per the family’s wishes memorialization will be by cremation and services will be announced at a later date.
