Scott Dalton Griffin – 58

Of Lake Park passed away on February 14, 2020 in Brooks Hospital after a brief illness. He was born in Homerville, GA to the late Morris Dalton Griffin and Joann North. He was a self-employed paint and dry wall contractor for over 30 years. Scott enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a “Bulldog Fan”. His great joy was spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Brandi “Nikki” Griffin.
Survivors include: Wife of 30 years, Kathy Griffin, Lake Park, Georgia; 3 Sons: Brandon Griffin, Douglas, Georgia, Curtis Griffin, Valdosta, Georgia, Ethan Griffin, Valdosta, Georgia; 3 Sisters: Katrina (Neil Mosley) McMillan, Valdosta, Georgia Kim Griffin (Donna Treadway) Valdosta, Georgia Tammy (Steve) Danley Valdosta, Georgia Grandchildren Brianna Griffin, Zayne Griffin and Kash Jones and numerous nieces, nephews and friends
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday February 18, 2020 at 3:00 P.M. at About My Father’s Ministry Church, located on 1005 West Gordon Street, Valdosta, Georgia. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the church.
Expressions of sympathy may be conveyed to the family at www.musicfuneralservices.com . The Griffin family is being served by the professional and caring staff of Music Funeral Services/Azalea Crematory, Valdosta.
