of Fletcher, NC passed away on July 13, 2005 after a short illness. Shannon is the daughter of the late John Patten Roquemore and Barbara Roquemore of Newnan, Ga., the granddaughter of the late William Howell and Bessie Howell of Collinsville, Illinois, and the late W.A Roquemore and Nell Roquemore of Lakeland, Ga. She was born on October 10, 1975 in Minot, ND. Shannon was a Magna Cum Laude graduate in music from Mercer University, Macon, Ga. and a graduate of St. Johns College Graduate Institute in Annapolis Maryland and studied additionally at Oxford University, in England. Shannon was a frequent traveler continuing her passion of the pursuit of knowledge. She was most recently employed as a teacher at The Veritas Christian School in Fletcher, NC following several years of teaching at The Newnan Classic School in Newnan, Ga.

Funeral Services were held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday morning July 16, 2005 in the First Baptist Church in Lakeland with burial following in the Greenlawn Cemtery in Lakeland. In Lieu of Flowers please make donations to the St. Jude Childrens Hospital, 332 North Lauderdale, Memphis, TN 38105.
