Sharon Blanton

Sharon Blanton, 74, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at the Lakeland Villas. She was born October 13, 1942 in Fitzgerald, GA to the late Hugh and Mildred Crawford Dorminey. Mrs. Blanton was a housewife all her life, was a member of the Park Avenue Seventh Day Adventist Church and loved a good gospel sing and listening to bluegrass music.
Left to cherish the memories of Sharon are: Husband, Jack E. Blanton, Valdosta, GA; 2 Sons: Marcus Taylor, Athens, GA, Stirling Taylor, Valdosta, GA; 3 Grandchildren: Courtney Arnold Michael, Shane Taylor, Ethan Taylor; 3 Great Grandchildren; 3 Sisters & Brother-in-laws: Patty & Mac Lanier, Tennessee, Ginny Jordan, Tennessee, Debbie & Gary Floyd, Texas; Brother & Sister-in-law: Hugh & Jackie Dorminey, Arkansas; Step Daughter: Debbie Blanton, Valdosta, GA and a number of Nieces & Nephews
As per her wishes Mrs. Blanton will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 17, 2017 in the Park Avenue Seventh Day Adventist Church.
