Sheila Lee Cammin

Sheila Lee Cammin, age 66, of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026. She was born to loving parents, James M. Cammin Sr. and Jan Crosby in Valdosta, GA on February 5, 1960.

She had a heart full of love for others, especially babies. Few things brought her more joy than welcoming a new baby to church, where she eagerly looked forward to giving them a warm hug and a gentle squeeze. Her kindness and affection made everyone around her feel loved.

She found great joy in spending time with her friends and working at LARC. Her compassion and patience touched countless lives.

Sheila shared a special bond with her beloved grandmother, Irma McCranie, who held a treasured place in her heart. Above all, she loved the Lord and praised Him with a pure, innocent, childlike faith that inspired everyone who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her father, and beloved stepfather, Rudolph Crosby.

Sheila is survived by her mother, Jan Crosby of Valdosta, GA; her siblings, Machele Touchton (John) of Abilene, TX and James Cammin (Carolyn) of Valdosta, GA; and her niece, Sara Touchton and nephew, Henry Touchton (Olivia).

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, July 22, 2026, in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Salem Cemetery in Adel.
