Of Lakeland, passed away Tuesday evening December 30, 2008 at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born November 14, 1937 in Berrien County, Georgia to the late Henry and Jimmie Lou Clanton Mathis. She was a housewife and a member of Browning Chapel in Lakeland, Georgia. She is preceded death by her husband Raymond Bailey; daughter, Patricia Bailey; son, Henry Bailey; granddaughter, Morgan Anderson; husband's parents, Wilber & Alberta Bailey; 4 brothers, Charles Mathis, Larry Mathis, Gary Mathis and Jimmy Mathis.

Funeral Services will be held 4:30 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2008 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in Fender Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, January 1, 2008 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
