Sherri Williams Gregory, age 74, of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away on September 18, 2025, at her home surrounded by the love of her family. Born on May 14, 1951, in Douglas, Georgia, Sherri was the cherished daughter of Thomas Jefferson and Sally Davis Williams, who have preceded her in death.

Sherri’s life was a testament to love and dedication. She earned her associate's degree at Wiregrass Tech College, where fate led her to meet her soulmate, James "Glenn" Gregory Jr. at the water fountain. It was love at first sight, and this beautiful connection blossomed into a remarkable 53-year marriage characterized by unwavering support and affection. They never left each other’s sides after that first day. Sherri served as a devoted office manager, working alongside her husband at J. Glenn Gregory & Associates, P.C. Together, they created not only a flourishing business but also a partnership grounded in deep mutual respect and love.

As a paraprofessional for local schools, Sherri touched countless lives, demonstrating her incredible commitment to the education and well-being of children. Her warmth, kindness, and laughter were infectious, embodying the very spirit of what it meant to nurture.

Sherri’s passion extended beyond her professional life; she was an active member of First Baptist Church of Valdosta. Many will remember her for the joy she found in dancing with Glenn; they danced whenever and wherever they could. Whenever there was music, you could spot them twirling and swaying together, creating lasting memories that painted their love story in the hearts of those around them.

Sherri's family includes her beloved husband, Glenn; her daughter and son-in-law, Lori Lambright (Ken) of St. Simons, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Chip Gregory (Cindy) of Lake Park, GA; grandchildren, Emma Gregory (Collin Parker), Emelia Gregory, Wright & Sassy Lambright, Carlton McTier and Ginger McTier; great grandson, Perry James Gregory; her brother, Jimmy Williams (Mary) of Lake Park, GA; sister, Gelaine Foster (Dewey) of Centerville, GA; extended family, Lori Reaves (Reuben) as well as several nieces and nephews who will carry on her legacy with fond remembrance. Special thanks to the family’s amazing friends and supporters: April Fielding, Casey Cate and Gena Self.

As we remember Sherri Williams Gregory, let us celebrate her unwavering love for her family, her dedication to her work, and the joy she brought to all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her spirit will continue to dance through our hearts, reminding us of the beauty and strength of love.
