Of Ray City, GA passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018 at her residence. She was born on October 30, 1963 in Adel, GA to Robert and Penny (Barfield) Hodge. She was an avid Christian and loved to spread the Word of God to anyone she come in contact with. She was a selfless woman and always did for others before she would check on herself. She enjoyed growing and selling blueberries and, in the summer, she had a flower stand with her father. Although she was very sick most of her life she never let that slow her down or take the joy of life from her. She was preceded in death by her father.

Survivors include her Husband, Jeff Mercer of Ray City, GA;
Mother, Penny Hodge of Nashville, GA; Brother, Nick Hodge, his wife, Angela Hodge and their children, Dylan (Spouse, Ashley), Alex and Jacob;
Niece, Ashley Kilpatrick, her husband, Joe and their children, David and Hannah; Nephew, Josh Emanuel, his wife, Kayla and their children, Leanne, Sarah and Savannah.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 8 at the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services. Messages of sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com . The Hodge Family is being cared for by the compassionate and caring staff of Music Funeral Services.
