Shirley Davis Frier

Shirley Frier - 83 of Valdosta, Georgia died on May 27, 2021, at the Presbyterian Home in Quitman, Georgia. She was born on May 27, 1938 to the late Julian Cecil Davis, Sr and Ann Bludsworth Simmons. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, riding in the country, mountains. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother who loved the Lord. She was a member of the Azalea City Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Julian Cecil Davis, Jr.
Survivors include: Loving husband of 52 years: Donald Frier of Valdosta, Georgia; 2 Daughters: Elizabeth Ann Goodwin and husband Richard of Panama City, Florida; Shirley Elizabeth Lusk and husband William of Valdosta, Georgia, 6 Grandchildren: Jessie, Michael, Richard, Cheryl, Travis, Kayla; 10 Great Grandchildren; 2 Sisters Linda Pruitt and husband William of Lakeland, Florida, and Barbara Abbott and husband Ron Lady Lake, Florida;
Numerous nieces and nephews
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at the Azalea City Church of God with burial to follow at Enoch Creek Cemetery, George Road, Echols County, Georgia. The family will be receiving friends from 6-8 P.M. Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Music Funeral Services, Valdosta.
