Shirley Ann Howe, age 82 of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away, Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Holly Hill Nursing Home. She was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on October 17, 1938 to the late Angelina Romano and Allan Oldfield. Shirley retired from Civil Service with Moody Air Force Base after thirty years of dedicated service where she was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Moody Chapter. She was a member of New Harvest United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Bruce Howe and parents.
Survivors include her son: Joseph Howe of Valdosta, Georgia; daughter, Vickie Cheney of Melbourne, Florida; two grandchildren, Rebecca Stewart and husband Daniel of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Michael Cheney and wife Blythe of Rockledge, Florida; one great-grandson, Michael Cheney, Jr.; two sisters, Dorothy Nolan and Husband Fredrick of Riverside, Rhode Island, Margaret Lavasseur of Providence, Rhode Island and a brother, Allan Oldfield, Jr. of Australia.
