Of Lake Park passed away Thursday March 3, 2011 in South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on June 5, 1931 in Valdosta to the late Lawrence "L.J." Jackson & Aline McLeod Dasher. Mr. Dasher was married to his loving wife for 60 years. He owned and operated Sidney Dasher Grocery along with his wife. He was a member of North Valdosta Church of Christ. His favorite past time was making sausage.
He is survived by his, Wife of 60 years, Glennette Dasher, Lake Park, GA; Daughters & Sons-in-law, Mary & Kenneth Sanders, Lake Park, GA, Ann & Scott Mizell, Oglethorpe, GA; Son & Daughter-in-law, Steve & Jenene Dasher, Lake Park, GA; Grandchildren, Chris & Janet Dampier, Jarret & Carrie Dampier, Greg & Abby Dampier, Stephen & Jessica Dasher, Jeffrey & Katherine Dasher, Tiffany Mizell & Justin Hingle and Tricia Mizell; 8 Great Grandchildren; Brother & Sister-in-law, Jack & Dessie Dasher, Dasher, GA; A number of Nieces and Nephews
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday March 5, 2011 in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Joe Howell Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until service time on Saturday March 5, 2011 at the funeral home.
