Of Naylor, Georgia passed away peacefully on October 1, 2024, at South Georgia Medical Center- Lanier Campus. He was born to the late Rufus Quinn Moore and Beverly “Doodle” Anderson Moore on July 16, 1962, in Valdosta, Georgia. Sidney had a deep passion for fishing. He cherished weekends spent camping under the stars, surrounded by the sounds of the water and the whisper of the wind through the trees. A devoted fan of the Georgia Bulldogs, he relished the excitement of game days, cheering on his team with unwavering enthusiasm. In quieter moments, he turned to his Bible, finding inspiration and guidance in its pages, allowing his faith to anchor him amid life’s adventures. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Nicky Moore and nephew, Alex Moore.
Survivors include son, Michael Moore of Naylor, Georgia; sister and brother in law, Angie Owens (John) of Lakeland, Georgia; nieces: Hannah Bruce (Allen) of Lakeland, Georgia and Amber Welch (Alex) of Atlanta, Georgia; nephew, Lyndon Owens of Lakeland, Georgia; great nephew, Easton Bruce of Lakeland, Georgia; special friends, Lorena Gould of Naylor, Georgia and Terry Bradford (Michelle) of Valdosta, Georgia; a number of extended family members and friends/
